Doesn't work. Maybe because I wasn't sure that the item I ordered was an iPhone "lightning" socket (female) to a USB type C male plug. The USB C plug is very slightly thinner than others that I have but I could see no other difference.
I am content to bear the cost of this fault, as I cannot be sure if there is actually a fault anywhere.
Consequently, I don't wish to cast a slur on the seller's reputation.
