What surprised me was that the ribbon came apart completely in my hand, not what I could expect from the description that mentioned some flaws but not such deterioration (dry rot?), plus I had not noticed when approving the total sale that the sales tax was high compared to the ~7+% in my state. I looked up Maryland's and saw, oddly, only ~6%. Could eBay err? How?
