I retract my last statement.If there were instructions on how to operate it would be a good idea.I am a pensioner and my hands and fingers not so strong therefore I coulld not pull up the lever.Just today my son came round and I showed it to him and explained my problem.With some effort and his stronger hands he managed to pull it up.I have not tried placing it on a valve yet but now I can pull up the lever so I can lock it into place.It looks good quality and i hope it serves the purpose..
