it works well and is stainless street not non stick in time it will naturally become non stick this wok differs from other electric works as the thermostat is not in the plug but the wok so u don't get stop start cooking it has buttons for temperature it also comes with a steamer attachment this really a great unit is there a negative yes but very minor the manual is in chinese not that u really need it but u need to memorize the temperature on the switches as they r hard to read
