Although the set up process was slightly different - flashing light bulb rather than flashing LED - this remote paired very quickly with both the Merlin 230T mechanisms we have in our garage. Having both doors on one small remote is great and the sliding cover is really good to have - with unprotected buttons it is far too easy to have the garage doors open accidentally and there's also the risk of discharging the battery. So this well-priced remote, with a sliding cover, is perfect.
