Amazing Story
This was intended to be a documentary on protecting the Gulf Coastal area but Katrina interrupted the filming and turned it into a report on survival by both the human species, the animals, and the land itself. Amanda Shaw is an awesome presence as a teen learning about the environment. Heck of a fiddler too.

Excellent documentary on Hurricane Katrina. I saw this movie with my kids on IMAX and they wanted a copy for their collection. A great way to get an important environmental message across to the kids while learning about this devastating natural disaster. It also has some great Cajun music in it's soundtrack too boot!

YOU ARE TAKEN ON A VICARIOUS JOURNEY THROUGHOUT THE REGION WITH WONDERFUL PEOPLE AND YOU GET TO KNOW THEM. AND THE MUSIC IS GREAT ALSO. I seen the movie at an Imax Theatre I enjoyed the movie a lot so I decided to buy the dvd. the dvd is real good quality the pictures are so breath taking sometimes i wish i had a blue ray dvd player to play the blue ray version. I bought just the standard dvd. but still the quality of the dvd is really good

Let's remember the people of Katrina
I saw this movie at the Imax and knew I would buy it. Wonderful scenes of the bayous. Tremendous lesson on the need to take care of the environment. I will continue to rewatch it as a reminder.
