Does what it says
Just what I needed to control landscape lights. Main feature is the Sunset / Sunrise setting, which adjusts turn on / turn off based on the time of year. Can also use set time modes. Setting the programming is a bit tricky, but easier than other units I've dealt with. Display is hard to read, but you set it once (hopefully), and let it run. Does need a AA battery that powers the timer -- would perfer a battery-less operation, but no biggie here. Overall, a solid package.Just what I needed to control landscape lights. Outdoor timer
I have this timer on outdoor low voltage landscape lighting and I love it. So easy to use and works great. No need to turn off and on manually. Highly recommend this timer.

Built well, works great, but could be a little more intuitive
The setup is a little strange but not hard and the sunrise/sunset is a little wonky, however it seems to work as it should. I won't know if it's accurate until months from now though. My watch has a sunrise/sunset display, and it works by just keying in the longitude and latitude. I like that better and it's more precise. Also, it might be nice if they added a +/- time to the sunset/sunrise. That way you could tell it something like, turn on 30 minutes before sunset. There might be a way you can but it would be really weird to set it up that way. I think you would have to lie to it about what time it really was. I was actually worried when I bought this that I would have to use either a set time for on and off or sunrise/sunset. I was happy to see that I can use any combination of the two. ... Mine turns on at sunset and shuts off at midnight. It seems well built and was easy to mount. I'm glad I bought it and it's really nice to see my lights come on automatically just as it's getting dark and I don't have to remember to turn them off.

Review
Overall a good timer. So far. It's a little complicated to set up, but most of these are. So far it's working as advertised. The only thing I don't like about it, again, so far, is there is no easy manual on/off. You have to scroll through the "SELECT FUNCTION" button settings to manually turn it off or on. A small but annoying inconvenience. If I have anything to add later, I'll update.
