About this product

Product Information

This alluring, enlightening assemblage of tattoo art demystifies the personalities of today's top tattoo models and offers a fresh take on the modern pin-up. The impressive body art shown here is just the beginning of a fascinating look into the minds and hearts of gorgeous, intelligent, and confident women hailing from around the world. In candid interviews these inked beauties open up to the author about their upbringings, first tattoos, favourite and most challenging modelling experiences, and more. Enjoy a colourful variety of photos that include hypnotic portraits, provocative poses, and interesting themes, creatively and tastefully showcasing mesmerizing body art. Also read about how each model was discovered, who their most trusted tattoo artists are, and how they launched their careers. This includes work by professional photographers with experience shooting for Skin and Ink, Playboy, and other publications. AUTHOR: Akos Banfalvi is a well-known Hungarian journalist and principal contributor to Hungarian Tattoo Magazine, Tattoo Galeria and Tattoo Zone. Everything started with his love for rock music, which led to his career as a music journalist during his teens. He soon became a principal contributor to the Hungarian RockinforM Magazin, where he worked for more than 15 years. During this period, he wrote five successful books about Marilyn Manson, Limp Bizkit, the most famous Hungarian punk 'n' roll band, Junkies, Hungarian melodic rock band Hooligans, and more. He also worked for years as a host and editor for several rock/metal radio and television programs. His interest turned more and more towards tattoos, and now he lives for this kind of art. He started to work for the Hungarian Tattoo Magazin in 2007, and, since then, has done interviews every month with tattooed bands, tattoo photographers, tattooed models, tattoo artists, and other artists from all around the world for three different Hungarian tattoo magazines. Akos also occasionally works for the English tattoo magazine Total Tattoo. American publishing company Wolfgang Publications released Akos's first international title, 'The Colorful World of Tattoo Models', in the fall of 2012, and it was immediately followed by the 'World's Best Tattoo Models 'minibook. Finally, his third book, 'Tattoos: Through the Lens of Photographers', was released in the fall of 2013, also through Wolfgang Publications. 306 photographs

Fantastic seller! My item took longer than normal to arrive but that's due to them sending me the wrong dvd. Not to worry though, I contacted them and they arranged for the correct dvd to be sent out. My item has now arrived and the dvd was in excellent condition (brand new as described) and it was very well packaged. I would also like to say that the value for money is excellent. I highly recommend this seller, thank you so much! The issue with the wrong dvd was quickly rectified .

Book arrived safely packaged in perfect order. Item as described, new. Thank you Rarewaves Outlet. Fascinating book, great addition to my collection. Great price. Would recommended this seller. No communication needed with seller, so don't know what to rate with regards to communication (please dont take lack of feedback on this matter as a negative). Thanks again.

This vinyl is really reasonably priced and I love that it is one of the more unusual colours. It arrived well packaged, undamaged and looks as described. It arrived late, due to Royal Mail's Festive rush, but was dispatched by the seller really quickly. When I contacted them to ask where it was, they replied really quickly with a helpful solution. Such good customer service, so strongly recommend. Really happy with my purchase.
