So good, I'd buy it twice.
What can you say about The Knife, their music is something out of the Electro movement and their contemporaries are bands like MGMT, Chromeo and Justice. The Knife's punchy keyboards and sultry lyrics steeped in innuendo makes this band a narcotic for the ears and the mind. To make things even better, this "Euro Pressing" comes with a bonus DVD of music videos which are visually as enticing and the tunes they represent. The hits from Deep Cuts are all on the DVD plus a very cool bonus song that is so mellow that it ends this visual collection nicely. It's also a must for you "VJs" who just gotta play Heartbeats on the screen! This collection is a must have for fans and a good introduction for the uninitiated. For me, it's such a great album, I'd have bought it twice just to get the ... I love the knife!
I love the knife. They have some whacky songs, but they're always fun. My favorites are heartbeats and is it medicine. I don't like the overly explicit lyrics all that much though, but that's how I am.
