Ryu Hayabusa returns for more blood-spraying, limb-lopping combat for this third entry in Tecmo Koei's frenetic action series. A group of terrorists led by a mysteriously masked alchemist has seized England's prime minister, but he's not really who they want. Instead they have targeted Hayabusa himself, knowing he will come to London to rescue their high-profile hostage. The leader, known as the Regent of the Mask, has a devious plan for Hayabusa: infecting him with a curse in which the blood of his victims surges through his body, slowly killing him unless he keeps fighting.<br><br>Fortunately, the master ninja has a few new techniques in his arsenal, from high-diving toward enemies to scaling structures using the kunai. Hayabusa can also perform slides to avoid encounters or to stun enemies, allowing him to follow up with deadly combination attacks. In addition to the single-player campaign, Ninja Gaiden 3 includes cooperative play with the Ninja Trials mode, where you and a friend must work together in special team missions designed to test your skills. Online play is also supported in Clan Battles, where you'll challenge rival ninjas from around the world to earn experience and unlock various customization options.

    A good action game but not a good Ninja Gaiden game !!

    The latest Ninja Gaiden installment for PS3 and X Box 360. I purchased this game because I like playing Ninja Gaiden series (right from NES era) and I am kind of disappointed. The game follows the story of young ninja Ryu Hayabusa and his adventures in multiple countries. The game introduces a new feature: Steel On Bones which is basically a slow motion (zoomed-in)action when you cut through enemy body, and you press additional button for more dramatic feeling. It also features new systems, called Grip of Murder, which is your invincible mode that you can gain by killing enough enemies. The graphic is quite good and the fighting scenes quite fluid. It also includes multiplayer mode, where players can play co-op to complete tough missions or skirmishes 4 vs 4 players. The multiplayer mode ...

    fun game but isn't as hard as the first one was...

    Fun game and it isn't insanly hard as the first one was and it is a little bit easier then the second one was. There is also a hero difficulty setting that you can play the game on that it is almost impossible to die. All in all it is a fun game to play.
