    Not the Best Marvel Movie, but Still Very Good

    I grew up reading comic books on a daily basis, so to see the movies today is quite an excellent revelation. The Thor movie is not the best Marvel movie, but it does a great job of introducing the Thor character to the Marvel movie universe and it has lead to other phenomenal movies, such as Thor Ragnarok. You need this movie to fulfill your Marvel movie collection, but it is in their early stages, when the films were building up momentum.

    Decent Marvel movie. Best watched with the other Avengers superhero movies.

    From the Marvel Universe and Greek mythology, Thor "The god of Thunder" blasts into action spanning Earth to the legendary Asgard. The story primarily follows the development of the would be king from a hot headed warrior who resurrects an age old war to a just ruler. When Thor is exiled from Asgard due to his arrogance his brother attempts to usurp the Throne. Will Loki succeed in betraying his family and claiming rule for himself? Will Thor learn what traits are required of a true hero, and king? The movie Thor also includes the background information and serves as a prequel of sorts for the Avengers movie.

    Great Movie One Of the Best of 2011

    A good sign of what's right with Thor, Kenneth Branagh's take on comics' most unapologetically Nordic superhero, comes in the form of a throwaway detail. A pair of black-suited agents are crouching on the roof of a building, holding sensors meant to track the cavalcade of extraterrestrials storming through a tiny desert town. As one agent watches Thor's chest-plated allies tromp down the middle of the street, the agent sips from a giant convenience-store soda cup. Because, right? You're sitting on the roof all day, someone's gonna make a run to SuperAmerica. That kind of human detail comes across so well in this film that one only wishes there were more, well, humans in it. Thor's humanity, or lack thereof, is left a little ambiguous in the screenplay ...

    Totally Awesome Movie!!!!!

    This is a action film that keeps you interested through the whole movie. Chris Hemsworth(Thor) and Tom Hiddleston(Loki) and Anthony Hopkins(Odin-King of Asgard) are all great actors in this movie. It has a full cast of talented actors/actresses that take you to adventure with some comedy. I have watched this movie so many times and I still will find something new and interesting. I will continue to watch again and again!!! I love it!!!!!
