These are for cold weather and or cold feet. And that is the reason I got them. With age your feet get cold and stay cold. I use these when working outside, and have warm feet. I wear them around the house on cold days and again warm feet. For me they are perfect. The problem of wool itch is largely reduced with the Marino wool. I would highly recommend these socks.
