      Replacement for Bentone EBI 052F0037

      Was replacement for the older and discontinued Bentone EBI 052F0037. I confirmed this with Danfoss that it was the correct replacement. Initially confused as the unit has an earth connection whereas the original did not. This was not a problem as it just connected to mains earth in the boiler control unit. Immediately when the boiler was started, I could hear the sparking which I have never heard on the original even when it was working. This indicates a very strong spark. Fitting was easy and worked first time and so far, every time. No more boiler failures. Had many a boiler engineers out and not a single one diagnosed this as a problem. I self-diagnosed it and was spot on. This replacement transformer is almost 3 times cheaper than the original which can still be purchased from HRM ...

      Good Replacement

      Cheaper than an original version replacement. Fits the same mounting point and performs exactly the same. No idea on the life of the replacement, as it should last for many years. There is normally a reason for replacements, and this because of either production costs or design flaws. As to why these have been revised, you would have to ask Danfoss.

      It is what it says it is.

      A direct replacement, both in size and connections, for the original Danfoss EBI module. Can't say much more really. Better price than the original model too. Hopefully, not as prone to moisture ingress.

      Great replacement for obsolete ignition transformer.

      Small conservatively rated unit provides strong electrical arc to guarantee rapid and assured ignition of oil jet. Simple to connect and terminate. Competitively priced, proving very reliable in service over last month. Do not anticipate any problems developing.
