This docking station was exactly what I needed. It is just like the one I have at my desk at work and it works perfectly.. I liked it so much I referred my coworker to the same company to order one for her home office. Unfortunately, she did not have as good of luck. They sent the wrong docking station to her, a completely different model. She reached out to them and they immediately sent her a replacement, but once again they sent the wrong one. She returned it and canceled her order. So far mine is still working and I am very happy with it. This docking station was exactly what I needed. It is just like the one I have at my desk at work and it works perfectly.. I liked it so much I referred my coworker to the same company to order one for her home office. HP dock
The dock works well with the HP EliteBook but HP has made some strange design decisions. One is that the dock does not work at all in "passive" no power mode (like a usb port would). The other is that the power cord may not be the same as your laptop AC adapter that works with it. Now I have to carry two cords because I can't just borrow the dock cable away from my desk. I needed this to make it easier to work from home (being on the laptop all the time was causing eye strain). Same as the new newones but half the price
