Item was mailed quicky as is exactly as advertised. With that being said, when you press the on switch, the light activates, then when you switch it off and flick the switch again the strobe light activates regardless of how long you wait . I have another Vastfire flashlight and the strobe light only activates when you flick the power button twice within 2 seconds.
