"Tennant's story works perfectly, creating a genuine modern sequel to Bronte's tale." -- Kirkus Reviews
Synopsis
Adele, the daughter of a celebrated Parisian actress, is a homesick, forlorn eight-year-old when first brought to Thornfield Hall by Edward Fairfax Rochester, her mother's former lover. Lonely and ill at ease in the unfamiliar English countryside, she longs to return to the glitter of Paris . . . and to the mother who has been lost to her. But a small ray of sunshine brightens her eternal gloom when a stranger arrives to care for her--a serious yet intensely loving young governess named Jane Eyre--even as young Adele's curiosity leads her deeper into the shadowy manor, toward the dark and terrible secret that is locked away in a high garret. . . . Super impressed with this seller! They had the best price by far for this book! Both the cost of the book and the shipping fee was far better than average! The book came exactly as described, it was well packaged and quite a bit earlier than expected! The seller was polite and replied quickly to my messages. I’ll definitely make another purchase soon! Thank you to the seller! Be safe and keep up the great work!

WONDERFUL book! Better than described, in just like new condition [not just good]. Packaged very carefully, shipped very securely. Great seller, would buy from again in a heartbeat! No communication occurred, but I imagine it would have been as good as the rest of their customer service. Very happy with purchase, thank you very much!

  • GREAT BOOK

The first thing I will tell you is that you can not read this book like the second to Jane Eyre. It does have alot of the same details, but it takes the story in a completly different direction. Adele grows up, gets very confused about what happened to Mr. Rochester's wife, goes back to Paris then reunites with her father and Jane. I loved it!
