    Good value for money.

    Yes it's a basic machine. Yes you get what you pay for. Yes it's great for hemming, edging and seaming. Once you learn how to thread it correctly (that's the hardest part) and get your thread tensions right it's a good little machine. Good for someone that only uses it every now and again. If you are a professional sewer there may not be enough features on it for you.

    Save money and do it yourself

    Great for little hobby project or minor fix for long pant skirt, saving some money on alteration. It will pay for itself.
