Great source for quilt block patterns
Have used the first copy of this book for years; great for potholders, table runners, candle mats, table toppers, quilt blocks. Bought this one to share

Not quite what I expected but still will be fun and useful
I was discouraged to find that this book uses template shapes for piecing. That being said, I do believe that it will be easy to figure out how to just cut and piece without having to create templates for each shape. However, there are lots of options offered and I do believe that it will do what I wanted it to - provide lots of ideas. I'll be happy making potholders but also using these for various other projects like table runners, wall hangings and even quilts!I was discouraged to find that this book uses template shapes for piecing. I love this book, it has easy directions and any one could follow them. I decided to buy this book cause I wanted to make some Christmas gifts.
