Photography fans, old TV show fans, here is a good set for you.
As a photographer, I was surprised to find this show on Hulu a while back. I watched a few episodes. It was a typical TV show from the 50's. Kinda corny, but still pretty good. I never knew Charles Bronson ever did a weekly show. His character is a WWII vet, a former combat photographer. Now he is a Private Detective, and uses photography to solve his cases. If you are a photography fan (old school film, not digital) you'll appreciate this show. It comes in a quality DVD set that will fit right in your collection. I am very happy with this purchase, great quality.
I decided to get this series on DVD because I had never seen the show before. I was not even born when it was made. But as a Charles Bronson fan, I had heard about it from my parents. I really enjoyed all the episodes. It has held up pretty well, for being 50 years old. Many shows and movies don't hold up too well, this one did. The black and white really make it look cool, very stylish. I enjoyed the old cars, it really brought you back to the late 50's. I must admit, Charles Bronson was a very talented actor. He really has quite a bit of range in this show, very impressive. While he is tough, you see a whole other side of the man. He get knocked out in almost every episode, kind of like Jim Rockford.I am very glad I bought it, I enjoyed it much more than I even expected. I would highly ...
