Wire-tie used to insure repair tape contact to clean metal for ultimate fusion. Used repair tape for both refurbished catalyst inlet flange and catalyst air injection tube connections. Tape solidified after 20 minutes engine run time. Wire-ties left in place. They may fall (burn) off in a few miles? Works great so far. (See photos below)
