      crazy guitar sound

I coil tapped a pair of slash pickups and added push pull pots to my les Paul. The sound I got was like active pickups but it would come and go. I replaced the stock switch now I have a reliable sound just not the active sound more hot rod,but I can use pedals to get that sound. Honestly I never thought my problem would be the switch I looked it over and over, but changing it fixed my issues.

switch rattles in the center position

the switch works, but in the center position it rattles and makes me wonder if the switch will eventually go out. for now it works, and was a great price for it, but i wonder if it was a 2 on the assembly line. switchcraft is usually a better switch than that, i put another one in one of my other guitars and don't recall it feeling loose and rattling in the center position. i just worked on my buddies les paul which has a switchcraft in it and the center position feels solid, as the rythym and treble positions feel the same way. my switch does not.

    • Much better than stock asian/metric switches.

Not completely necessary if your switch is working fine, but I had a cheap switch and one cheap pickup mixed with one Seymour Duncan I just went ahead and swapped out the cheap bridge pickup and switch because I could tell the difference between the good and the bad way too much. Just way too different sounds and mismatched output period so I replaced the switch while swapping the pickup because I could hear a click everytime so just in case it would help. Note: if you have a swimming pool routed guitar it can act somewhat like a hollowbody and be slightly microphonic with your switch and tapping on the pickguard and what not at higher gain levels and volumes. So replacing your switch won't always solve but this is much better quality and noticeably less poppy.

    • Quality switch at a great price.

The switch fit my Epiphone SG Pro perfectly. Definitely a much higher quality switch than the factory one which I found out is notorious for breaking. I'm glad I slept this one.

    • Switchcraft is good. I'm sure you have heard like me. Thats why I bought this. Word of internet...

Come highly recommended. And while the switch is a little sensitive, responsive is not necessarily a bad thing, is it? My main concern is that the switch has no issues with static or losing signal or any of those issues associated with a bad switch. As far as that is concerned it is too new to comment on and this is my first experience with this swithcraft 3 way. Works great for now.
