      great product

      Bought this as a replacement for our 30 + year-old Staywell that was getting a bit tired. (Our last old cat died a few months ago and we're expecting to adopt some kittens soon, so we need to be sure the locks work perfectly) It was incredibly easy to fit this into the old hole, and I fully expect it to be as good as the one it replaces.

      Watch out on thickest rated doors

      Watch out if using on thickest doors this is rated for. The inner liner barely reaches the outside surround when it really needs to overlap to be watertight. Their dimensions don't seem to allow for any overlap at all, the screws definitely aren't long enough and there's no easy way to screw in from both sides as the inner side cover isn't designed to be removable.

      Robust design, easy to install. Cats love it.

      Great build, good design- robust and easy to install. Very good quality all round- highly recommended. I've used this same design in 3 different homes, and they never disappoint. Cats get used to them, and the enclosed instructions are very clear, and the advice on how to get your cat to get used to using the flap is very sensibly written- no 'forcing' your cat through, etc. otherwise the cat can panic. The 'tunnel' allows for varying thickness of the door. Brilliant!

      Good for up to meduim cats

      Good quality and easy to fit. 170x170mm sqaure opening and two screws - job done. Only for Small to Meduim size cats though. My cat is a bit of a porker and gets stuck halfway through! I bought this to replace a Petporte cat flap which we are taking with us when we move house so chose it for the cut out size more than for my fat cat!!

      Basic but does the job

      Cats use it and it's sturdy so it does the job just fine. its easy to install in a upvc door - use a jigsaw for the job - by following the instructions to the letter. Recommend you use sellotape rather than masking tape for the template on upvc - for some reason masking tape can be difficult to remove afterwards. If the cats are indoors at night then I recommend using the lever to lock the door as other cats might enter to scoff all your cats food.
