    Better than I thought.

    I was dreading another Zack Snyder joykill of a movie, but you know.... its not that bad! It is episodic and disjointed. It is overwhelmed by CGI and greenscreen. But, it is entertaining. I did feel that given its rambling nature it might have worked better as a (very expensive) TV miniseries of 4 or 5 episodes - which is how I watched it. I do like Ben Affleck's Miller-esque Batman and Gal Gadot's powerful Wonder Woman, but I have reservations about Superman. Its not that Henry Cavell isn't good in the part, its just that Supes has to be loveable to work - like Christopher Reeves - otherwise he's just annoying. He's not a character who wears self doubt well. I even enjoyed Jesse Eisenberg's increasingly deranged Luthor.
