After nearly three weeks the TV arrived at my door in Perth. Unfortunately tracking the package did not work.
The TV’s box had been repacked as a factory second but it was in good condition as expected. The TV exterior matched its description and only had minor cosmetic scratches/blemishes on its frame and was a little dusty. Unfortunately once turned on the TV screen exhibits some significant picture issues which impact its use and I currently awaiting further advice on an exchange/ repair.

After nearly two weeks I am no closer to having my defective TV refunded or replaced. Sony refuses to provide the on-site service they advertise and expect me to unmount and package an 85" TV. Worst of all the screen issues have been diagnosed as insects in the panel! So it seems their 'certified refurbished' claims are absolute rubbish. Google Sony Ebay before making any purchases here as horror stories are far to common. I recommend paying a few hundred more and avoiding a giant headache.
