Why use a second rate(STOCK) flow valve?
This is for my water heater drain valve! BRASS! The plastic one that comes with the tank is DUMB! Try to remove it without breaking it. It will not flow enough water to effectively flush the tank. Got a new tank? Replace the drain valve! This one was too short.

Pros: Protected on both ends and was shipped professionally and quickly. Cons: Didn't fit exactly as I needed, so I had to dish out more money $18+ at home depot for a coupler/nipple to attach, as well as have to do the process over from the start. Overall, if it fit's your hot water heater, it should be g2g and you should have 0 issues. Make sure you measure the old 1 before you purchase this item or item like it so you don't end up spending twice the amount I did.Pros: Protected on both ends and was shipped professionally and quickly.
