Has many features, was easy to set up, I have a Holden VE ( limited functions for that model ) although has a range of car makes. I have a i400au also which has better Holden coverage. It’s good value for the money, can read obd2 codes, mainly used for ABS SRS options has DPF regen even Odometer only for a select few also EPB. So if your working on many makes and models this would suit you and being so cheap. There’s a few reviews on YouTube about this scan tool.

elm327 is a protocol and a specific device, most of the clones will do something in scanmaster. many devices implement the elm327 *protocol* but fumble the details and don't actually work if you expect to use them via the elm327 serial shell
adapters that are most compatible with the elm327 *device* will show important differences in the automatic probing order & some other stuff. apps like elmscan for android can check some of them
