    Enjoyable ripping yarn

    An entertaining if wildly implausible 2hr 20mins ripping yarn. Soil and dust NASA informs us is chlorine toxic, human poo full of pathogens, Martian 120mph dust storms wouldn't even blow Watney over but never mind, don't let reality get in the way, it's still an enjoyable ride and a good value DVD 👍👍

    Excellent Film!

    I can't review the DVD as such as it was a present for a cousin, so I haven't watched it. But I did see the film before buying the DVD so will review the film. I thought Matt Damon's performance was excellent, and the film was very engaging - a well balanced mix of drama and black humour. It kept my attention throughout and I left the cinema feeling uplifted by the outcome - one man's triumph over real adversity. I'd see it again and will certainly do so when it makes its way onto TV.

    Had to see movie again after visiting Wadi Rum

    Great movie, great location in Jordan for filming. If you are lucky enough to go there, stay at Zeina Lodge in Wadi Rum.
