Here's The Original, "Wagon Train", Ward Bond & All
Here's a fine movie all about the West and the pioneers that settled it. It's a John Ford film and follows a wagon train as it makes its way with natural hardships, criminals, and wild Indians. It's the inspiration for the TV series called "Wagon Train" with Ward Bond. This film has fine actors and good story to tell. If you like good old fashioned, western adventure, this one's for you. It's worth the price of admission and then some.

Great film
This is a great film by by the legendary director John Ford. No big stars but members of his stock company. Dobe Carey, Ben Johnson, Ward Bond and Joanne Dru star in this engaging tale of Mormons heading west. A much overlooked and often forgotten classic, of all the films Ford made this was one if his favorites.

Wagon Master is the movie that was the inspiration for the TV series Wagon Train. The movie does a great job of conveying the life of a wagon train and the scenes depict it in detail. Great cast. Any western movie lover should enjoy this movie.

I’m a van of the old Wagon Train series and Ward Bond in particular. The Wagon Train series is based off this movie and i really enjoyed seeing Ward Bond in his pre Wagon Train days. Ben Johnson and Harry Carey Jr. are in this too.
