Moms with sons need to read this
Although my sons are grown, I have grandsons that can benefit from the information in this book. I have also been able to use some of the information in dealing with my grown sons. I thought the first half of the book was slow reading; however, I realize the author was proving his case. The second half was more about implementing with lots of examples given. After I read the book, I bought a copy for my daughter-in-law. It's a book you can refer to over and over and the concepts work for young and old.

Very, very important book for moms with boys!!!!!
Respect to a boy is the inspiration he needs to be all he was designed to be. We as mothers can bless and inspire them by fulfilling this deep craving and need in their lives. This book helps explain the need and give many helpful suggestions. Emerson says again and again, "Girls need unconditional love (which we moms don't question) and our boys need unconditional respect (so foreign to us.) He explains how you can demonstrate respect to a boy with "un-respectable" behavior as an inspiration and a call to be a great man.

Mothers of sons of any age need to know the information in this book. We are taught about a daughter's need for love from their fathers but we are not taught how important it is for a mother to express respect to their sons. My sons are now young men with sons of their own, I will be passing this book along to other mothers of sons.
