    Efficient and convenient

    I bought this to accompany my Pig Hog 9VDC 1000 ma adapter (which can also be used alone to power one pedal). Truetone and a few other manufacturers offer similar products; I have not tried any of those, so can't make a comparison. But I have no complaints about this unit. I believe the Truetone 1Spot can handle 1700, while the Pig Hog runs 1000 maximum. But it easily powers the following pedals, rated at around 100 ma draw each: Mooer Tender Octaver, Boss RV-6, Electro-Harmonic Mel9, TC Helicon Harmony Singer. So, I've eliminated several wall warts at a very reasonable price. Note that this is designed for 9 volt center negative pedals, which are the most common. Adapters for other types might be available. Check Pig Hog's web site.

    Give this Hog a Wide Berth

    there is little or no QC regarding the power plugs--it's hit or miss whether they will fit in your pedals or not; even more hit or miss whether they will STAY in the power IN jack -- many of them just slip out by themselves without you having moved the pedal. The only way to make sure they stay in place is to use rubber bands around the cable and your pedal -- or whatever fastener you are willing to risk using on your expensive pedals. There are many other low-cost and more reliable daisy chain power sources available. Don;t even consider this one.

    better than One Spot

    More affordable and sturdier than One Spot. One Spot has always been way overpriced...this is a better alternative. The cords and adaptor are thicker and more "heavy duty"...assuming that the core wiring are the same...this is just a better product.

    Too porky

    All of the male plugs are are encased so heavy that they won’t stay plugged in to an MXR, EHX or TC pedal and need modifications, like a razor and a prayer to cut away excess. Wish I would have checked sooner and been able to return. Got short shafted. Literally.

    This wont work properly with many effect pedals

    I use EBS, Sansamp, Caline and Seymour Duncan pedals. The plugs dont fit properly and they wouldn’t power up with a power supply I know it good.

    Don't waste your money please

    I don't know why but when I plugged pedals like MXR reverb, TC electronics hall of fame, Vox Delay Lab and others, the pedals start to flashing and the electricity begin to fluctuate. The plugs are too shorts to some pedals and the cable between plugs are to short in a few cases like pedaltrain classic pro.
