    This filter works great for my 20 Gallon aquarium.

    The filter is easy to clean, I reuse the filter cartridges by cleaning them monthly in a bucket of aquarium water I siphon from the tank when doing the water change so I do not kill the good bacteria. The flow control is handy for the times the fish are being fed. The replacement filters are easy to find in stores. Best bang for the dollar for a aquarium filter.

    Too loud

    Just bought this for a 37 gallon tank. I had a 10 gallon with a smaller Whisper filter and was happy. This larger one is way too loud! It cleans the water okay, but I would not recommend this filter if you want it quiet.

    Works well with Goldfish

    I have had great success with this filter in the past. It does a great job filtering my numerous goldfish. I now have quite q few more goldfish and choose to get two filters. They work great for my needs. I don't have any interference in other rooms as far as noise goes, and I like the feature that allows me to turn down the flow so the fish can eat without having to struggle with the current.

    good and fast mechanical filter with throttling.

    This filter was just what i needed. I have a 60 gal tank and the canister filter at a 70 gal capacity couldnt quite keep the little floaty bits down. The whisper filled in the gap and created additional current to aid in water health. Also, love the built in throttle.

    Good filter for a good price

    After looking in every local petstore, all the filters i found for my tank were $40 and above. Luckily, i found this one, and it preforms beyond the price. It keeps my tank clean, and the clear intake tube looks much better than the conventional black ones. I would definitely recommend this filter.
