Bought this phone to replace another M8 that decided to take a swim in the pool. I am sure there are other phones that are newer designs and newer technology but not at this price. The down side is that the battery is not easily replace.

From day one problems charging phone. The charging port needs to be replaced. Sometimes it will charge more times than not it doesn't charge. I love the phone besides the charging issues.I found a place to replace the charging port. Yet,they want as much as I paid for the phone. So just remember you are buying a used product. So need to save to repair the phone.

The HTC has to be hands down one of the best phones today, I'd go as far to say it is the best phone today, the amazing features it had was great. Ive own the Galaxy and a iPhone. and I do prefer this phone! it has a nice lay out, fast to open apps and go from internet to a movie. to music. the Sound on this phones is perfect, its better than people say, it like BOSE system good. Especially on a phone that blows my mind. Camera is good, I have my own Canon so its not ideally my use with this phone, but the picture is good on this phone. very nice affect to add to pics too. this phones feel very expensive. and it offers alot more. ive had this phone for a week and im still discovering more about it.
I have been 3 weeks with the (Brand new) HTC ONE M8 and I have to say is an excellent product. Immediately get the updates that was lacking from Verizon and is Unlocked. HTC is definitely one of the best smartphones brands nowadays. Blazingly fast, even faster that some top smartphones today.The camera takes very nice pics. Very nice camera software. It works perfectly overseas with an international carrier. I love the amber gold color. Tired from blacks and whites smartphones colors. Is a very attractive device.
It does everything I want in a phone and long battery life. It is a little larger than I like, I have small hands. But well worth it even with the size factor.
