Item was described as ' in excellent to near mint condition, no chips no scratches and no knife scars or anything like that' however upon inspection item did have damage to the banding exposing underlying porcelain (without damage to the box, so unlikely to be shipping damage). Seller was willing to offer a partial refund due to the difference in described condition. Prompt communication from seller, resolved issue adequately.
