Mopar Jeep parts are predominantly cheaply made plastic. The only reason I bought this part was that it was the only way to replace the original cheaply made plastic part that broke in my Jeep Wrangler. This says as much about Jeeps in general as it does about their parts and replacement philosophy. There is a high chance that this part will break again because of faults in its design; luckily I will be selling my Jeep so I won't have to worry about this issue again. On top of this, this has to be one of the most expensive parts that I have ever had to imports due to the ridiculous shipping cost. I cannot believe how much it cost to get this into Australia. The only good thing I can say was that they posted it off to me very quickly, but for the price I should have had it in a few days, ... Mopar Jeep parts are predominantly cheaply made plastic. Moral of the story is, don't buy a Jeep Wrangler (or any other Jeep for that matter); whilst the overall design, appearance and capabilities of these cars are reasonably good, they are cheaply made and have many shortcuts and flaws in their design. You will constantly be replacing small but expensive components such as these if you use your Jeep as an off-road (or even on-road) vehicle. And that part will probably break again. It keeps the parts manufacturers in business but it isn't good for anyone else.
