Trip mechanism needs improvement
The trap has been unsuccessful thus far. I believe trip mechanism design make too difficult for gophers to set off. Perhaps rather than having three strangle straps, design it with only two. However, the straps should have guides within the tube.

It worked! It worked!
The spring is very light weight and can be bent out of shape very easily. However, it worked and I got a mole within a few days, so it's paid for itself already. I recommended it to a friend and they got a mole as well within a couple of days.
