Truly prophetic sci-fi.
As a cautionary tale on the perils of artificial intelligence, this almost 50 year old movie is eerily prophetic. The movie does not indulge in over dramatic exposition (and some may find it too subtle on those grounds) but interestingly, the film reviewer for LIFE magazine, considered it superior to both 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY and PLANET OF THE APES!
