  • An oldie but a goodie

    An oldie but a goodie. This set came out in 2007 but I feel it still holds up very well today. Playability is quite good for younger collectors, however the hinged fuselage sections have a tendency to come away fairly easily which may prove annoying for some. The canopy does not have a hinge like all up to date Lego kits do so this may also annoy/disappoint younger collectors. The bombs sit on a moveable platform inside the main fuselage and can easily fall of the platform if the shuttle is being eagerly played with. In this event the bombs will not release when the appropriate lever is operated. You'll need to open the fuselage, retrieve the bombs and place them back in the correct location. This is another factor that may annoy collectors that wish to actively play with the ...
