    This book has helped save my life! I am now eating to live, as in to feel better. At 237.5 pounds and 5'5" I was obese, felt dizzy and not very good after eating, had hypoglycemic tendencies, and was becoming desparate to feel better. However, I did NOT want diet pills or stomach surgery as two family members had suggested I try.     Sugar Busters was recommended by my chiropractor. I was very helpful to see the doctor’s insights into finding the glycemic index on foods. Many of the healthy things that I was eating had a high glycemic index which made my average blood sugar level go up regularly. I also found out that being on insulin to control my blood sugar also was making it harder for me to lose weight which has a direct affect on the amount of insulin I needed.
