November 2014 feierte die UN-Kinderrechtskonvention ihr Jubilaum: 25 Jahre Kinderrechte weltweit. Zunachst scheint eine Konvention ein Stuck Papier, ein Vertrag, eine UEbereinkunft oder eine Regel, die von einer Gruppe von Menschen aufgrund ihrer selben UEberzeugung unterzeichnet und eingehalten wird. Es steckt hinter der UN-Kinderrechtskonvention jedoch so viel mehr. Besonders wenn man sich das Problem der Menschenrechtsverletzung in Entwicklungs- und Schwellenlander anschaut, wirkt die Kinderrechtskonvention wie ein Aufruf nach Menschlichkeit, Rechten, Freiheit und Wurde fur Kinder. Die mediale Berichterstattung fuhrt uns immer wieder vor Augen, in welch einem Ausmass Menschenrechtsverletzung, Korruption und Ausbeutung in Entwicklungs- und Schwellenlandern vorhanden sind. Ein besonderes Problem stellt die weitverbreitete Kinderarbeit dar. Die Bekampfung von Kinderarbeit, speziell in der Dritten Welt , ist ein Thema, das international und seit Jahren diskutiert wird und von Jahr zu Jahr steigende Aufmerksamkeit bekommt. Politisch hat sich dies in ein Spektrum von nationalen und internationalen Initiativen, insbesondere der Vereinten Nationen, der Internationalen Arbeitsorganisation und der zahlreichen Nichtregierungsorganisationen, niedergeschlagen. Die UN-Kinderrechtskonvention gehoert zu einer dieser Initiativen der Vereinten Nationen. Sie hat sich in Erziehungs- und Bildungsfragen auch mit dem Thema Kinderarbeit beschaftigt und dieses ausdrucklich verboten. Trotz dieses Verbotes ist die Kinderarbeit vor allem in Entwicklungs- und Schwellenlander weit verbreitet. Obwohl die Schulpflicht im 21. Jahrhundert eine Selbstverstandlichkeit darstellt, gehen viele Kinder arbeiten, statt zu Schule. Besonders in Indien ist dieses Phanomen keine Selten

Fantastic seller! My item took longer than normal to arrive but that's due to them sending me the wrong dvd.
