The Player that will play anything. Even scratched DVDS!
I give this a five stars because I don't believe many people use DVD players. Since everything is going digital I like to make my own DVDS from videos and this LG player is excellent for watching your own home made movies. It will play dual layed DVDS that you can buy and make super long movies, they hold over 240 minutes! This is the only DVD player that I know that can play them. The only thing, you maybe should think about a remote. You can play movies fine, but the player has no features to let you skip and fast forward. The remote is needed eventually. Great player and slick and you hardly know it's there.I give this a five stars because I don't believe many people use DVD players. Plays Movies Beautifully! Great Bang for Your Buck!
I originally bought this product because the DVD part of my DVD/VHS combo player began to malfunction (disc door opening at odd times, laser not reading). After looking at many different listings, I found this one, which also included a USB port. I'd never seen one like that before, and the fact that it was "Manufacturer Refurbished" with a 90 day warranty was great! Although I was warned of possible cosmetic scratches, the product appeared to be in perfect condition in every way. It came with an RCA cable, a remote control, and an instruction manual. It is such a tiny machine, but very efficient! It has played several movies beautifully. I have not tried out the CD function or the USB port yet, but I look forward to playing music soon!
