I over-tightened the bar resulting in it buckling and makes noises when extending or retracting. I reinstalled it somewhere else but it still functions as intended. One of the locking lug is a bit flatter than the other so it doesn’t snap up to hold the lug in place. Still works as long as you slide the lug into the internal gears to lock the bar in place.
