Born on an American air force base in Germany in 1972, Sterling Ruby is a Los Angeles based artist whose work appears in such public collections as Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York, Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, and Tate Modern, London. His work has been featured in exhibitions worldwide, and art critics have come to know him as the poster boy for posthumanism; however, as Eugene Wang articulately explains in his essay for this new volume, Ruby is so much more. Eugene Wang's text and the beautiful photographs and reproductions contained in this book properly contextualize Ruby's work. His VIVIDS, as well as earlier collages and studies, engage with issues related to the violence and pressures within society, autobiography, and art history.

Fantastic seller! My item took longer than normal to arrive but that's due to them sending me the wrong dvd. Not to worry though, I contacted them and they arranged for the correct dvd to be sent out. My item has now arrived and the dvd was in excellent condition (brand new as described) and it was very well packaged. I would also like to say that the value for money is excellent. This vinyl is really reasonably priced and I love that it is one of the more unusual colours. It arrived well packaged, undamaged and looks as described. It arrived late, due to Royal Mail's Festive rush, but was dispatched by the seller really quickly. When I contacted them to ask where it was, they replied really quickly with a helpful solution. Such good customer service, so strongly recommend. Really happy with my purchase.
