The Illustrated Elvis - Review by Jeff Schrembs
This book, written by W.A. Habrinson, was first published in 1976 which is (approximately) the year before Elvis' passing (i.e. August 16, 1977). Not only does this book contain some WONDERFUL photos of Elvis Presley but it also is "factually based"...without an (obvious) agenda. Sadly, most books written about Elvis Presley (excluding those written by Priscilla Presley, EPE, Paul Lichter (who I ENCOURAGE anyone/everyone to get all of Pauls' books), Joe Esposito - who I LOVE everything that Joe has written because he really did love Elvis, Marty Lacker, Jerry Schilling - whose recent book was exceptional, etc.) did have an agenda with the "emphasis" on things that were "uncomplimentary" (to say the least). Elvis Presley was the GREATEST Entertainer that has ever lived. Elvis gave ... This book, written by W.A. I am so pleased that I was able to obtain another (original) copy. If you are an Elvis Presley "fan" you should check out this book as it is a fun book to read and a treasure to own.
