The phone is exactly what we wanted and hoped for as our 14yr olds first phone. Basic, easy to use and navigate, and very simple functions. However, the SIM card slot has a sliding lock/tab that was removed and just thrown in the box. The SIM card tab when reinstalled does not hold the SIM down very well and the phone often loses service because it is not tightly held in place by the tab. The same goes for the SD card slot locking tab. The tab was in place for the SD card, but non-functional

A flip phone the size of a candy bar. Running a descendant of Firefox OS, it can handle modest web pages as well as its own (webapp based) app store. Good RF performance on both cell and Wifi, and good phone audio as well. The battery life is great (I hear long VoLTE calls drain it, but I don't do long calls). If you're looking to break your face always being locked to your phone--but still be able to communicate? This is for you.

An Alcatel phone (with all the related issues thereto attached) with Nokia's name on it. I am a long ago Nokia owner / user and made a purchase based on that experience. Multiple year Alcatel user. Based on latter, and experience with this particular model in hand, returned same.
