About this product

Product Information

Dragon Ball Z: Taiketsu is the first fighting game on Game Boy Advance based on the popular Japanese anime. Drawing inspiration from such 2D fighting franchises as Street Fighter and King of the Fighters, Taiketsu offers players familiar elements, such as chargeable energy meters, combination attacks, and throws. Yet the dramatic powers of characters are also exhibited in sky battles, which involve taking the combat high into the air. Seven playable characters are initially available, with eight more waiting to be unlocked. For the first time in the series, players will be able to choose from characters featured in the animated films.

Broly, Buu, Frieza, and Cell are just some of the accessible fighters, each possessing signature moves and a distinctive animated style. Players will fight in such recognizable environments as arid deserts and advanced cities during the game, all while earning a type of currency called Z-Points to purchase things like character bios, artwork, new game modes, and more. In addition to the Story mode, which follows the epic struggle of good versus evil, players can embark on an Endurance mode to see how long they can last with only one life, or challenge a friend for multiplayer competition using a GBA Game Link Cable.

The description of the item purchased was accurate and it works really well on my switch. For games at a good price, I recommend others to buy from this person. It came well packaged and arrived today. Once it arrived, it worked as mentioned in the description. I give this seller a 5 star rating.

The seller listed as a "brand new" game, but the game arrived is not sealed and only has a dirty sealing sticker, which is definitely not brand new. If I want a used one, I'll just go to local owners to find a much cheaper one. Not much to complain about the shipping though. Not the fastest, but still OK. I didn't bother ask the seller and started the return process, so I'll leave the "Seller Communication" a five star.

  • Nice Intro...Bad Game

After playing Goku's Legacy 1&2 and just loving it I decided to buy this game as well...what a mistake that was. From what I understand, this is a remake or clone of an old PlayStation game. Which is was bad on that system and is bad on the GBA. The fighting just plain sucks, special moves are hard to do and its just really not all that fun. Someone was just out looking to make a buck on a cheap game. A great way to ruin a good game series... Think twice before buying this one!

  • My 7 and 4 year old love it!

I know nothing about the game....but it seemed to fit my kids....they love dragonball z, and it's building the vocabulary because they know how to pronounce the characters.....so I have no complaints with it....as long as my kids don't lose interest in it.....
