Fantastic seller! My item took longer than normal to arrive but that's due to them sending me the wrong dvd. Not to worry though, I contacted them and they arranged for the correct dvd to be sent out. My item has now arrived and the dvd was in excellent condition (brand new as described) and it was very well packaged. I would also like to say that the value for money is excellent. This vinyl is really reasonably priced and I love that it is one of the more unusual colours. It arrived well packaged, undamaged and looks as described. Percy Jackson 5c Prepack by Rick Riordan (CDs)
The series is about a young teen that discovers that he is a demi-god (or half b lood) and is tossed into a magic world themed in the (mostly) Greek mythologies of old. The books are well written. The reader is no Jim Dale (of the Harry Potter audio series). He comes off, trying to sound like a kid and it sounds a bit off. Yet, does not sound bad. If you are a fan of the Harry Potter series and/ or mythologies stories than you would like these. They are not as 'interwoven' as the Harry Potter stories. The use of continuity is.... okay for a young adult magical book. The Greek/ Roman mythology intertwined with modern explanations are amusing, fun and entertaining. SPOILER ALERT!(for Book1) The mid climax of the book where Percy is at Half Blood Camp and learning about the camp & campers ...
