    Best microphone for the IC-7100, maybe others

    Absolutely BRAND NEW. I bought this mic to swap out the HM-198 mic that comes with the IC-7100 HF/6M/VHF/UHF radio. I sent it immediately out to Bob Nagy AB5N to have him work his magic on it. If you buy this mic, you will be cheating yourself if you don't get the very best performance possible out of it. And BY FAR it is superior to the original HM-198 mic Merle KJ7YTF

    Good IC-7100 mobile mike

    For home and mobile operation it is very easy to control the functions with this Icom mike by far over the one that comes with the radio. A minor plus is that you can order plug-in replacement mike cable for the HM-151.

    Real deal in retail packaging

    Original OEM HM-151 Mic (made in China just like the one I got originally with my radio) Comes in retail box. Shipping took a week longer due to covid 19 delays, but I got it and it works fine!

    I bought this mic to get the extra control functions for use in the mobile. I was pleasantly surprised that the HM-151 had noticeably better audio than the stock HM-198. Recommended.
