The system is good and easy to set up. Works as expected. My only complaint is that the handsets cannot be named. They are automatically named Handset 1, Handset 2, etc. In this system, you have to remember who has each handset or where it is located such as in the Living Room. I like that I can connect two cell phones by Bluetooth and both answer and make cell phone calls using the TL86109 system. This is handy at home when the cell phone might be charging and not nearby. I also prefer holding the base corded handset (or cordless handsets) to a cell phone.

Reason for purchase was to replace older Panasonic unit that the handsets started to fail from being dropped and/or batteries failing. What I like about the phone is 1.) the ability to connect a cell phone 2.) slim light handsets 3.) Audio quality very clear. What I dislike 1.) Miss the visual alert of messages waiting on portable handsets. 2.) Silence feature stinks when you press the button on a incoming call you don't want to accept the call silences the one handset other phones keep ringing. 3) The phone has the ability to instantly transfer contacts from cellphone which is a nice feature. Only problem a cellphone does not require a 1 so you must modify every entry. 4.) Dial directory is stored in main unit so if one handset is logged into the directory and a second person tries to use the second line and tries to look up number they have to wait for first handset to release directory. 5.) Modifying directory names stinks which is needed when transferring directory from cellphone. The problem is you need to modify entries because a cellphone directory is stored differently where you have a contact name and then a subcontact menu of various contacts for that person such as home, mobile, work numbers. This phone identifies each entry as a line item, so identifying a contact requires you to modify the entry. Unfortunately you are unable to overwrite entry name or just backspace to delete, a painful process of moving letters to end of display to delete existing info is needed; to long to explain how. So you have two choices when transferring, fix every entry through painful process to fix or start new defeating purpose of transferring entries. 6.) When cellular connected you have to answer by pressing the cell button on handsets to accept cell call, same for the each line. It would of been nice if could just press one talk button without searching for which line is calling in. 7.) Also if cellular connected it is connected with all handsets would be nice if it had the ability to select one handset or multiple handsets. Problem if connected for say work and incoming cellphone call for work rings family members in other rooms can pick up call which you may not want if say a child answers your work phone could be undesirable, you have to remind them not to answer and to be careful. This hampers the nice feature of cellular connection when all hansets are active other than that it is great to have the ability to seemlessly connect the cellphone to landline phone as you only need to search for one handset for any type of incoming call. 8.) Call log and message retrival must be done through multiple steps by selecting individual line. On Panasonic if there was a message or a missed call it was a one button step to retrieve information where the line it came in on was announced and/or displayed. On the new AT&T unit it is multiple steps to retrieve, you must select the line that you want to review first then go through more menus to actually review. Then you need to back out of each menu to select next line go through process again and again for cellphones.Read full review
We are still learning it, but so far it's been great. Reception terrific - lots of features - easy to program numbers, etc. The user's manual sometimes has errors so then you have to call AT&T for direction, but that is a minor inconvenience. Overall, the best home phone system we have ever purchased.
useing a 2 line system when you only have one line, allows the phone to opperate free when another call is comming in.You can be talking on line and while talking this phone will ring that a call is comming in on your cell phone thru blue tooth very KOOL. I am very impressed the phone is great it would be nice if blue tooth worked further than 30 feet. Yea I do recomend this phone This is compatable with my other phones in mt Home the basic phone in every room.
Unbelievable capability for a kick ass price! Data port, 2 lines, dual answering machines, cellphone connections and massive call recognising directory, and man, we have not even scratched the surface of its uses yet! Love, love, love my new phone! Oh yeah, did I tell u I love my new phone system?
I especially like the bluetooth cell phone conferencing capability. Other than that , it's a reliable 2-line[hone that integrates nicely with a home or small business internet + phone gateway system.

I purchased this phone for my new business and so far I love this product. It is very easy to understand, I have not even looked at the instructions. The size is perfect and it lights up very nicely when in use. The keys are very soft and very quiet. Great phone.
Lots of features! Easy to use. Setup was a breeze.
