This provides additional stability so I'm happy with that but made me nervous it was not what I'd bought. It sits quite a lot higher than a standard washing machine, so doesn't optimise space, and makes it that littlebit harder to put the dryer on top. No instructions included so I didn't realise the screws came already inserted in the frame. I haven't put my dryer on top yet so hopefully it supports the weight.
