It closes shortly after opening in the morning & every time I open it it closes again some time after. Result - chickens can't get in to lay their eggs and are locked out at night - foxes are a big issue in this area. The other units we have work just fine. Ok its a faulty unit & I accept that. But the supplier hasn't yet replaced it nor refunded the price. I think a month of being patient is long enough!
